Searching for the Missing: Bringing Families Answers

For many families, the hardest part of a disappearance is not knowing. That uncertainty is what drives Alfonso Solis to keep showing up. His volunteer search work has helped bring home more than two dozen missing people in recent years, including support in difficult cases like the search for Wade Roberson and efforts to locate San Juana Jiménez Rocha in Dallas. Solis combines field tracking, compassion, and family-centered support, often stepping in when loved ones are desperate for help and answers. His work reminds us that search and rescue is not only about investigation—it is also about dignity, persistence, and giving families a reason to keep hoping.

North Texas volunteer tracker Alfonso Solis uses meticulous observation and deduction to help locate missing people, trafficking victims and runaways.
